Additionally, the growing threat from the Manchu tribes in the north culminated in increasing pressures that the dynasty couldn’t adequately manage. The fall of the Ming Dynasty was marked by rebellions and ultimately the invasion of the Manchus, leading to the establishment of the Qing Dynasty in 1644.
