The performance of female candidates compared to male candidates in UPSC showcases a gradually improving trend. Historically, gender disparities existed, but recent years indicate a rise in female aspirants excelling in the examination. Women are increasingly achieving top ranks, contributing to greater visibility of gender equity in civil services. However, systemic challenges, including societal expectations and work-life balance, continue to affect women's preparation experiences. Encouragement and support systems, together with equitable access to resources, can further enhance female candidates' success in this competitive arena.
