Remote learning can have both positive and negative effects on the educational achievements of marginalized groups. On one hand, it can provide access to quality resources, courses, and expert instruction that may not be available locally. However, challenges such as limited internet access, lack of technological devices, or insufficient digital literacy can hinder these students' ability to engage effectively. Consequently, the educational gap may widen for marginalized groups. To mitigate this, targeted initiatives are required to ensure equitable access to remote learning opportunities and support systems, promoting inclusivity in education.
