Helen Keller's life experiences, particularly her disabilities and early education, led her to become a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities. Overcoming the challenges of deafness and blindness with the help of her teacher Anne Sullivan empowered her to assertively pursue education. Keller’s exposure to a range of social issues and her experiences at a time when disabilities were often misunderstood fueled her desire to advocate for accessibility, rights, and inclusion.
